What takes place on a mission trip?

Typically projects include painting, drywall, construction projects, yard work, property clearing, and caring for spending time with the homeowners to learn their stories. After each day of work, there are evening programs where the teens dive into their faith. Each day provides teens with the opportunity to reflect on how they have seen God that day.

What does a typical day look like?

Most days begin with a communion service and then we go to our worksites. Everyone returns in time for dinner and programming is directly after.

How do I register my teen?

Complete all forms found under the “Required Forms – Teen” tab. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to secure your teen’s spot on the trip. It also means that you are agreeing to pay the entire cost of the trip. Registration is first-come, first-served. There will be a waitlist if the trip fills.

What does the cost cover?

The total cost of the trip covers supplies/tools, rental cars, gas, food and a t-shirt. We are more than happy to provide a cost breakdown for the trip if requested.

Do we have to pay the full amount?
No, you are required only to pay the deposit upon registration. You can pay the remaining amount out of pocket, but we encourage your teen to send out letters and donation forms requesting financial assistance for the trip. (Forms found on the “Fundraising” tab.)

Cancellations?

If your teen needs to drop out from the mission trip, the deposit and any raised funds for the trip are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your teen drops out within 30 days or less prior to the trip, you are responsible for the remaining balance.
